Hello i m working on a project for my xbox one where i want to merge this corsair fan wires 1 and 2 with wire 3 and i don t know which wire is the positive and negative would anybody be able to advise me which wires i should connect.
I suggest you change the fan to a custom one like corsair or another pc fan it s really simple look.
Out comes the system s single 120 mm fan looking much like a pc case fan but with some sculpting that s unique to the xbox one s design.
So i dropped my xbox one ans now everytime i try to play a game my xbox will make a sound with the fan to say its loading then it will shut down.
The fan is almost the same but it dont fit well because the height of the one s.

The reason it was cheap was it was broken it d been knocked off a shelf and the degree of damage done was pretty intense considering it d just been dropped.
The xbox one hardware works different than the 360 if your xbox is set to standby when you power off instead of shutting completely off and your fan is wired to one of the components that stay active in standby it ll keep running but if you replace the fan instead of adding a second and wire it in the exact same way to the same solder points as the first it should work properly and shut.
Hi yan it s really simple to change the bearing you can remove the fan without have to remove the heatsink.
